Bengaluru: Congress President Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of decimating the Indian Foreign Policy and treated it as an individual exercise.
Addressing a press conference here before winding up his campaign in Karnataka, Gandhi alleged that the Prime Minister indulged in personal conversations and did not take the Ministry of External Affairs into confidence while dealing with Foreign Policy. He said ‘Foreign Policy has been completely decimated because PM valued Foreign Policy as an individual exercise’.
Referring to recent China visit of Modi, Gandhi alleged that the Prime Minister had gone without any agenda, especially the Doklam issue. ‘He did not have an agenda. Chinese incursions into Doklam is severe, the Chinese army is present in Parades in Pakistan, Russia is supplying arms to Pakistan and we are surrounded in all sides, but the Prime Minister did not raise these issues’.
